At just 26 years of age, Norman Henry Schichtel

runs two showrooms in Düsseldorf & a world-wide

buying & selling network for used design classics.

The son of a family of architects was born with a passion for designer furniture & objects. He began collecting himself at an early age. After a successful start with an online store, the next step was to create tangible spaces. Here he presents selected vintage icons from Bauhaus and Mid-Century.

In addition to well-preserved classics from renowned German, Italian and Scandinavian manufacturers and designers, such as the original “Swan Chair” by Arne Jacobsen or the “CH24 Wishbone Chair” from 1949 by Carl Hansen & Søn.

(pictured here), Norman Henry Schichtel also offers real rarities such as the “Willow Chair” by Charles Rennie Mackintosh or the “Fiberglass Chairs” by Charles Eames.
