Two rare, upholstered La Fonda fiberglass armchairs are for sale.

 Production period: 1961 - 1972

 The chairs are in good, used condition!

 One of the chairs has light dirt on it
 Seat.

 About history:
 Charles and Ray Eames designed two new fiberglass chairs in 1961: an armchair and a side chair. They began working on this project in response to a request from their friend Alexander Girard who needed seating for his new restaurant, La Fonda Del Sol, in the Time Life Building in New York City.
 Girard asked for chairs with backs no higher than the dining table tops, and Charles and Ray made the backs of those chairs lower than those of the first two Eames fiberglass chairs.
